quantitative EEG (QEEG)

Quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG) is a scientific, non-invasive way of measuring the brain’s electrical activity. During the QEEG, a special cap, with multiple sensors, is placed on the individual’s head and conductive gel is squirted into the sensors to ensure a good connection with the scalp. A computer then measures the brain’s electrical activity, so that the data recorded can be compared with that on a database of ‘normal’ brain activity. This comparison allows assessment of the problem and helps define the specific brain areas involved. Treatment protocols may then be set to address the presenting problem or problems using Neurofeedback training.

Our QEEG analysis is independently analysed by an expert team at Applied Neurosciences Pty Ltd, using several Analysis systems, examples of which are shown below. A report is returned to us with an explanation of findings and recommendations for Neurofeedback training.
